A. Scanning 35mm Filmstrips

1. Turn the LightLid 35 Plus II over. Load the filmstrip inside the upper slot of the

LightLid, with the film’s shiny base facing up.

The filmstrip should be inserted inside the slot specifically allotted for film, as

shown in the illustration.

2. Place the LightLid 35 Plus II vertically on the glass surface of the scanner, and

center it along the ruler of the scanner.

3. Double-click the ScanWizard 5 icon ( ) on your desktop to launch the

ScanWizard 5 Standard Control Panel, then click the Switch icon ( ) on the right

corner of the Standard Control Panel to switch to the Advanced Control Panel.

The upper slot is for

loading 35mm filmstrips

Ensure that the calibration

window is kept clear and

free from any obstruction for

successful calibration and

best image results.

Important: Place the LigthLid 35 Plus II

lengthwise on the center of scan bed

and align notc h flush with the top edge

of the glass.
